Heavenly Father, during the month of May, one day is set aside to honor mothers. We reflect on the things they have taught us, knowing that You use all of what we have learned in life for our good and Your glory. You use those things to help us create and give life to the stories we write—stories that will encourage and bless those who read them.
How blessed we are to have Your Holy Spirit within us to steer us aside from the clamor of the world and listen to Your voice. Help us take the wisdom and the teaching of kindness many of us have learned from our mothers and enhanced by You and integrate it creatively into our writings. This creativity is a gift we use to encourage, delight, and give hope to our readers through the power of your Holy Spirit in us.
