Behold, what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God.
And that is what we are! (See 1 John 3:1.)
Our gracious Heavenly Father, how could we ever fathom the enormity of Your love in sending Your Son, Jesus, and calling us into the family of God. Through the power of Your Word we are raised to the status of children of the Most High King. Remind us, this month, of Saint Valentine’s willingness to share Your love in the face of adversity. Keep us from discouragement, Lord, and empower us to be ever mindful that our written words have the power to change lives. In whatever ways our writings touch readers, whether through books, magazines, poetry, devotions, etc., fill those words with the power of Your love. May our eyes, continually, be focused on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
