December Prayer Time

Father God, we come into Your presence. You are the Holy One, our Lord and Savior, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). You are the Light of the world and we write by Your light.
You have given wings to those You have called to write. May we fly from darkness into Your holy light. An awesome task faces us, but You are an awesome God. Overshadow us now with Your love and grace, and teach us to lean into You for our strength.
You set before Your servants a unique writing ministry, and we ask that You give us objectivity, insight, and times of refreshing rest. We ask You to provide us with the help we need. Stand beside us, Father God, for “the unfolding of Your words gives light” (Psalm 119:130 nasb).
As Christian writers, we long to bring forth words of hope to those struggling in the dark. Even as we seek Your face, the sun rises upon us and its light shines more and more unto the perfect day.
You have chosen us for great tasks, Lord, and You always keep Your promises. You encourage us. “You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you” (John 15:16 nasb). In Jesus’ name. Amen.
