Lord God, Heavenly Father, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, we praise You for opening our eyes of faith to Your great sacrifice for us. In all the world, through all of time, we marvel at the fact that You chose each of us to be one of Your children. And even though we mess up, You envelop us in a state of grace, love, and acceptance. How amazing is that! With each day You’ve granted us, may we honor and serve You through our writing. Grant us wisdom in using words to proclaim Your name to a hurting and sin-sick world. May the light You’ve placed in us shine brightly until You call us home.
