Taylor Bennett, of Roseburg, (just out of high school and has already had two books published) reports that this summer she will be teaching a writing camp at the Umpqua Valley Arts Center for kids ages nine and up. Susan Brehmer, of Portland, is a contributor to the sixth volume in the Short and Sweet series: Short and Sweet’s Family Album.

Camille Eide, of Sandy, just signed the contract for her fourth novel, Wings Like a Dove, a historical love story, which will release December 1—just in time for Christmas.

Lynn Hare, of Portland, wrote the featured devotional for April 10th in The Upper Room. (Note: Susan King, an associate editor of The Upper Room, will be at this summer’s conference as she has been for several years.)

Tracie Heskett, of Vancouver, Washington, recently completed her first ghostwriting assignment for Speak it to Book. Her six-grade series of books that teach language and writing skills is now available on the Teacher Created Resources’ website.

Yvonne Kays, of Bend, has a piece “Retrieved” in the recent Chicken Soup for the Soul collection: Life Lessons from the Dog.

Linda Kruschke, of Lake Oswego, got a request on her blog from a pastor of a country church in Pennsylvania to use her poem “The Last Supper” in his church bulletin.

Kendy Pearson, of Dundee, is a double semi-finalist in the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) Genesis Contest with entries in both the Historical and Historical Romance categories. She is also a finalist in the Wisconsin Romance Writers of America Fab Five Contest. Her teaching schedule is as follows:
