He’s living two lives. One life is at church, where he’s a “model Christian”—teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir…and dating the pastor’s daughter Randi. But Ben’s other life isn’t so ideal. He skips school, so much that the other students—and even one teacher—call him “AWOL.” He’s flunked one class after another. And he spends a lot of energy and effort trying to keep his dad—and church friends, including Randi—from finding out.

Then one day, Ben’s two lives come crashing into each other. Randi announces that she’s transferring to Ben’s school…in two weeks! He doesn’t want to lose Randi, but how can he possibly turn things around? He might have a plan. But no time. Will he soon have no girlfriend?
