Kendy Pearson, of Dundee, is offering a series on “Introduction to Publication Writing” from April 22 through May 13 (four Monday evenings) at the Wilsonville Public Library. Session each Monday evening is from 6 p.m.–7:30 p.m. On Saturday, May 4, she will be offering a workshop on “Publication Writing—the Sequel” at the Dallas Public Library. That session is 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pam Rosales, of Beaverton, was the featured writer on April 6 for The Upper Room.
Pat Rushford, of Vancouver, Washington, and a 1961 graduate of R.A. Long High School in Longview, Washington, was inducted into her high school’s Hall of Fame for the Lifetime Achievement Award: “For outstanding accomplishments as an author of more than 60 books in print. Also as a speaker, teacher, and an artist.”
Several of our members have articles in the March and April editions of The Christian Journal. They are Susan Brehmer, LGayle Gustafson, and Linda Highman, of Portland; Jon Drury, of Vancouver, Washington; Annika Klanderud, of Dundee; Maxine Marsolini, of Happy Valley; and three members from Bend: JoAnne Bowles, Mylissa Salvador, and Jan Sheerin.
